Prudential Annual Allowance support…

Did you know the Prudential technical helpline has handled over 1400 queries about Annual Allowance so far this year, making it their most popular topic.

Given the increasing complexities of Annual Allowance, and the challenges you face when giving advice, it’s not so surprising.

To meet this demand for more knowledge and support, there’s lots Prudential can offer…

What’s new?

The Annual Allowance calculator is now web-based, as are all Prudential’s other tools and calculators. The functionality hasn’t changed – it still works out unused and tapered allowance for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 tax years, giving you a PDF summary for your clients file.

Mark Devlin from Prudential’s technical team has recorded a new webex to help you get the most out of the calculator – you can take a look at this here.

To boost the support even more, Prudential have developed two new help sheets on Annual Allowance and Tapered Annual Allowance calculations. Sitting alongside the calculator, they give guidance on what information you need to populate the fields.

You also have access to a number of technical articles which cover the background, tax relief on pension contributions, Tapered Annual Allowance, pension input periods, working examples and much, much more.

You can access all of this on the dedicated page on PruAdviser.
